Refund Policy

1. About this Policy

This Refund Policy describes the circumstances under which Technologia FZE (operating as Whostpress) issues refunds to customers of whostpress.com. It applies to all purchases made through our website and forms part of our Terms and Conditions of Service.

2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a thirty (30) day money-back guarantee on the following products, calculated from the date of the initial purchase:

  • Shared web hosting plans
  • WordPress hosting plans
  • cPanel hosting plans
  • Reseller hosting plans
  • Professional email hosting plans

If you are not satisfied with one of the products above within the first thirty (30) days of your initial subscription, you may request a full refund of the hosting fee, subject to the conditions below.

3. What the Guarantee Does Not Cover

The 30-day money-back guarantee does not apply to the following products and services, all of which are non-refundable:

  • Domain registrations, transfers, and renewals — registry fees paid to ICANN-accredited registries are non-recoverable.
  • SSL certificates — issued by third-party certificate authorities and non-cancellable once issued.
  • Dedicated servers — billed for the full committed term once provisioned.
  • Virtual private servers (VPS) — refundable only if the request is made within seven (7) days of provisioning and the server has not been used in violation of our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Setup, installation, migration, and configuration fees — non-refundable once work has commenced.
  • Add-on services consumed — such as backups already restored, support hours already delivered, or licences activated.
  • Marketconnect, third-party software, and resold subscriptions — refunds are governed by the original vendor's terms.

4. Renewals and Recurring Subscriptions

The 30-day money-back guarantee applies to your first subscription period only. Subsequent renewals are non-refundable. To avoid being charged for a renewal you do not want, you must cancel the auto-renewal at least twenty-four (24) hours before the renewal date through your client area at whostpress.com/clientarea.php or by contacting our support team.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please open a support ticket from your client area at whostpress.com/supporttickets.php or send an email to [email protected]. Please include:

  • Your full name and registered email address
  • The invoice number for the purchase
  • A brief reason for the refund request (so we can improve our service)

6. Processing Time and Method

Approved refunds are processed within fourteen (14) business days of approval and are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. If that method is unavailable (for example, the card has expired), we will contact you to agree an alternative.

The exact time for the funds to reach your account depends on your card issuer or payment provider and is typically between three (3) and ten (10) business days after we issue the refund. Currency-conversion differences and third-party processing fees imposed by your payment provider are not refundable by us.

7. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Initiating a chargeback for a charge for which we would have issued a refund on request may result in suspension or termination of your account and the additional recovery of fees imposed by the payment network.

8. Service-Failure Refunds (Outside the Money-Back Window)

Beyond the 30-day money-back window, we may issue a pro-rata refund or service credit if we are unable to resolve a service failure attributable to us within a reasonable time. Service-failure refunds are assessed case-by-case and are governed by the Service Level provisions of our Terms and Conditions.

9. Tax and VAT

Where Value Added Tax (VAT) was charged on the original transaction in accordance with UAE Federal Tax Authority rules, the VAT portion is refunded together with the net amount.

10. Fraud, Abuse, and Terminated Accounts

We will not refund fees in respect of an account that has been suspended or terminated for breach of our Acceptable Use Policy, our Terms and Conditions, or applicable law (including but not limited to fraud, spam, distribution of malicious code, hosting of illegal content, or non-payment of related invoices).

11. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect on the date of your purchase governs that purchase. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
